Alleppey Beach

Karumadikkuttan
It is situated 3 kms away from Ambalapuzha. This small village is well
known for its 10th century Karumadikkuttan statue. It depicts a black
granite figure of God Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
Champakulam
It is a water-logged village. The St. Mary Forane church is an added
attraction to this place. This church houses many beautiful mural paintings
for tourists. Champakulam boat race is the first in the list of all boat
races that are held in Kerala.
Ambalapuzha
It is an ancient Shri Krishna temple which is famous throughout the Kerala
for the milk porridge, 'palpayasam'. In Ambalapuzha 'Pallipana' is performed
by Velans once in twelve years.
Paithiramanal
It is a beautiful island located near Vembanad lake. One can reach there
