Indian railway has tried to create a complete 5-star hotel on wheels, equipped with numerous amenities including two restaurants and a bar, a sauna and business centre. Offering the best comforts and services on board all over the world, Deccan odyssey takes you to most fascinating tourist spots of Maharashtra. The journey begins from Mumbai, then continues to Ganapatipule, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Goa, Pune, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Elora, Nasik and then ends in Mumbai.

Two well decorated and lavish restaurants named as Peshwa I and Peshwa II serve you with lip smacking delicacies. A well-stocked bar car is attached to cater your drinking needs, serving liquor of Indian and international brands.

This sleek blue Limousine with its well-maintained 21 luxury coaches offers a seven-day sojourn that is worth enjoying at least once in our life. Almost all the comforts of a five-star hotel are provided to the tourists on board including modern amenities like cyber cafe, mobile phone, sauna bath, six-channel music, TV, DVD and massage-cum-beauty parlor.

Out of total 21 coaches, 13 coaches are fully air-conditioned deluxe saloons. Among these 13 coaches, 11 are passenger cars with 4 twin bedded chambers and 2 are Presidential Suite Cars with 2 coupes each car. A lounge is attached at the end of each coach, where passengers can relax and have a countryside sight while traveling in daytime. Two restaurant cars serve the passengers with mouth watering Indian dishes. Conference car in the train can be redesigned as a dance floor during night. Lounge/bar car caters to the needs of entertainment and drinking needs of passengers. Spa car is a surprising addition in the train.
