Introduction
The fascinating coral islands of Lakshadweep are located in the emerald
Arabian sea, just off the coast of Kerala. These are 35 groups of islands

Airport :
An airport in Agatti is regularly connected by flights
from Cochin. Cochin is an international airport and linked by main
cities of India. Helicopter service is also available from Agatti to
Bangaram island resort during monsoon and to Kavaratti right through the
year.
By Ship :
There are a number of ships that operate from Kochi to
Lakshadweep. The distance can be travelled in 18-20 hours. The ships
offer all modern facilities with accommodation. The ship services remain
closed during monsoons.

known as the' Gateway to the Lakshadweep Islands', Agatti boasts of having

The administrative capital, Kavaratti is the most developed island. It

Kalpeni It
is the largest lagoon of the Lakshadweep. While holidaying in Kalpeni, you
can enjoy kayaking snorkeling, pedal boating, sailing and swimming. The bank
of coral is believed to come to light after the storm in 1847.

A perfect getaway from the hustle-bustle of city life, it surely offers you
a memorable experience. It is well known for birds and pleasant climate.
