Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the science of life which has
brought true health and wellness to millions of individuals throughout the
ages with simple changes in daily living practices. By incorporating few of
these proven methods into lifestyle can bring about radical changes in your
life.
This ancient art of healing has been practiced continuously for over 5,000
years. The principles of many natural healing systems now familiar in the
West, such as Homeopathy and Polarity Therapy, have their roots in Ayurveda.
Ayurvedic practices restore the balance and harmony of the individual,
resulting in self-healing, good health and longevity.
Ayurveda is the combination and extent to which one dosha predominates over
the other doshas which determines an individual's body constitution, or
'Prakruti'.
Vata: This force consists of the Ether and Wind element which
governs all movement of the individual from micro to macro, within and
without.
Pitta: The fire element alone governs the individual's digestive
forces right from food to thought.
Kapha: The Earth and Water elements come together to give the body
its form as well as the ability to bind and retain.
Spa is the way to soothe your skin by
replenishing natural minerals. This procedure begins with dry brushing,
followed by a gentle salt or body polish exfoliation. The body is then
layered with an exotic mixture of herbs in a mud, algae or cream (milk) base
mask and cocooned in warm blankets. While the mask absorbs into the skin,
enjoy a scalp and foot massage, followed by a massage under our 'seven
headed' Vichy shower. The treatment ends with a silk-emulsion lotion
application. Our Spa services include:
Relaxation Body Massage
This massage ensures deep relaxation and improve circulation. The calming
massage techniques will relax muscles and quiet nerves.
Aromatherapy
A relaxing massage with a custom blend of essential oils. This soothing and
gentle massage helps to stimulate circulation and induce relaxation through
the combined sense of smell and touch.
Hot Stone Massage
Smooth, heated basalt stones are integrated into the massage and placed on
key tension areas of the body. The warmth and energy from the hot stones
transmit soothing warmth that helps in releasing stress, creates a feeling
of well being, balance and a sense of wholeness.
Saarasota
This massage starts with a herbal steam, followed by an aroma full body
massage, after that you will have a mini facial incorporated with lymphatic
drainage, followed by hot stone foot massage and scalp massage.
Head Massage
It is a penetrating technique to release the muscular spasm from the head,
neck and shoulder region that provides a tremendous sense of ease. This
stimulates arterial circulation, increases venous and lymphatic flow,
reduces stress, and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste
products. It is also known to relieve eyestrain, headaches, sinusitis,
congestion and insomnia.
Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage
This massage leads to relaxation of knots and tight muscles and take
that weight off your shoulders.
Lymphatic Drainage
This is a gentle relaxing technique which drains the lymphatic system for
filtration and elimination of waste. This treatment is of crucial importance
for the detoxifying program. It increases resistance to disease, promotes
quicker healing of injuries, allows fewer wrinkles, and eliminates dark
rings under the eyes.
Reiki
Our reiki expert focuses on channelizing life energy through the body,
promoting harmony and serenity. At Elemental Embrace, we incorporate
gemstones and crystals into the treatment to balance the chakras, and create
equilibrium in the body, mind and spirit.
Salt Scrub
A full body dry brush followed by a salt scrub under the vischy shower.
Lotion application to finish.
Reflexology
This treatment concentrates on precise reflex points on the feet, based on
the premise that feet represent a microcosm of the body; where all organs,
